From the Outer Banks to the Blue Ridge
Exhibit from May 1 – June 15, 2025

Lissa Friedman

I studied art as an art major in college, later at the Art Students League in NYC, and at the San Francisco Art Institute. I have shown in California, Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. I was featured in the International Artist Magazine and have won several awards.

Through the years I have evolved though many genres, including realism, impressionism, imaginal, abstract, surrealism, and now a combination of them all.  I have been using gold leaf to create a lyrical abstract flow through the painting, then adding the beauty of nature to bring the viewer into the present. The effect is one of dynamic aliveness. In experiencing my artwork, I hope viewers are moved by the radiant beauty into a state of internal awe, connecting to them to their true nature of Oneness with all.
