👏The Downtown Asheville Gallery Walk invites you to a relaxed and inspiring evening of art, culture, and connection in the heart of downtown.

From August 1st through October, over 15 galleries open from 5–8PM each First Friday. Explore exhibitions, meet artists, and enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at Asheville’s creative scene. Wander at your own pace, then stay downtown for dinner or drinks. Bring a friend, stay curious, and enjoy the simple pleasure of a night filled with conversation, community, and inspiring artworks.

Start your evening at UpMarket Gallery, where you’ll receive a warm welcome with a wine and champagne reception—and we offer the perfect parking solution! There’s easy metered street parking right out front and a large public lot just behind the Renaissance Hotel on Woodfin Street. Park once, explore UpMarket Gallery, and be sure to experience the lively Dog & Pony Show—you won’t want to miss it! From here, it’s the ideal launch point for the rest of the Gallery Walk!
