Our space is ideal for bridal showers, baby showers, birthday celebrations, small gatherings, and creative events. If you’re planning something intimate and meaningful, it’s likely a great fit.

UpMarket Gallery can accommodate up to 50 guests, depending on the layout and style of your event.

We are located in the heart of downtown Asheville on North Market Street, making it easy for guests to access nearby parking, restaurants, and accommodations.

Rental includes access to the gallery space, flexible layout options, and a unique art-filled environment. (You can customize this with tables, chairs we have available. We also offer rentable tablecloths.)

Yes, we do not offer catering from the Gallery, so outside catering is your job. We do have a newly renovated catering kitchen attached to our upper level event space.

We require a 2 hour minimum for every event. Rental timing is flexible depending on your event needs. Reach out and we’ll help you plan the right schedule for your gathering.

Absolutely. The space is designed to be beautiful as-is, but you’re welcome to add personal touches to make your event your own.

I normally dont leave 5 start reviews, I feel there is always something that can be better. However I can't think of 1 thing to make this a better venue!! We had my daughters 16th birthday party here. Very easy to work with,and communication was fantastic! We had a party of around 35 had plenty of room for more if we needed. 2 divided rooms allowed the adults to give the teens some space. Bathrooms and Kitchen were very clean and well stocked. Kitchen was supplied with most of everything you could need. Was a nice touch that there was a changing table for babies/ toddlers to make life a little easier. Very reasonably priced, additional options for extra items to rent. Can't say enough good things about them!

I had my daughter‘s baby shower here over a weekend on a Saturday. Parking was easier than I figured and I have to say that Heather and Margaret make everything so seamless in arranging this event. They worked with me on everything and they were so kind and sweet. The studio is such the perfect place to have an event. This is also where my son gets his photos done for his children. I highly recommend this place for any kind of event you’re going to have.

Upmarket Gallery is well lit, beautifully curated gallery and event space. I’m an events producer who is having an event there this Sunday, Heather is the galleryist and she has been more than gracious in helping me put this dinner event together. Plus! Dog and pony show is a retail shop connected to the gallery and it has original works of art from her and local artists for home decor! Best part is, it’s conveniently located centrally in downtown Asheville with plenty of street parking and walkable to other shops in the area. Check this place out!

This place is lovely! Heather was very kind and professional. We had an epic engagement party. I am over the moon delighted with how it went. We will use this beautiful event space again. Highly recommend it. Can’t say enough positive things about the space and Heather. She’s a delightful person.

I cannot say enough good things about UpMarket Gallery! We needed a meeting space for a span of multiples days and long hours and I was so happy to come across UpMarket Gallery. Heather and Margaret were over the top accommodating for our team and made the week a tremendous success. The conference room and upstairs space was perfect for our corporate retreat. The price was very reasonable and the value was absolutely there. It had all of the hookups and outlets we needed for our meetings. Having access to their kitchen throughout the week was also incredibly helpful as we needed to bring in meals and snacks. Even better was the proximity to hotels, coffee shops, lunch spots and everything else our group needed. If you're looking for a meeting space in downtown Asheville, reach out to the UpMarket team ASAP! We will definitely be contacting them for future meeting needs.
