Art from the Heart is an exhibit to remind us why we make art — to express, to heal, to connect. In a world full of noise and perfectionism, this exhibit celebrates authenticity — the raw, emotional, human side of creativity.
Sharon founded ArtFest Fort Myers in 2000 and served as Executive Director for 22 years, returning briefly for its 25th anniversary in 2025. Now Chair of the Board, she remains dedicated to helping artists succeed. She has led countless juries and reviewed thousands of applications—second only to her love of connecting with artists in person.
Carolyn Graham Edlund is the founder of artsyshark.com, a “top ten” art website started in 2009 that features and promotes emerging artists. With a background as the owner of a production studio and art sales rep, she has acted as an art business expert, writer, speaker for the past 15 years. She has juried and judged more than 50 visual art competitions and has extensive experience as a curator.
