Matthew Micca is a process-oriented abstract artist based in Asheville, NC.

I focus on intimate-scale work because it creates a multitude of possibilities. My works are visual pockets of energy that can move around spaces. My interest in the work lies in perpetual change and possibilities.

Matthew’s work has been featured at the North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh, NC,
GreenHill Center for North Carolina Art, Greensboro, NC, Weatherspoon Art Museum, Greensboro, NC, and Durham Arts Council, Durham, NC, among many others.
